The Headshot - Tosh.0

Some time in June 2011, my longtime friend and collaborator Dustin Hahn visited me in Boston. We worked together previously at The Onion News Network in New York City, where he was still based. Dustin and I had also spent time performing together in the city, including some sketch comedy at UCB NY. Inspired by stories regarding muggings, I told Dustin I had thought of ways I might get out of a situation…and we decided to recreate this one in my basement during his trip.

Fast forward a few weeks, I walk into my house after work and hear my landline ringing. I never answer the landline, but this time decided I wanted to blow off steam at a random robocall scammer…turns out it’s someone in the clip release department from Comedy Central’s Tosh.0. I never submitted the clip, I’m guessing it came through Reddit somehow…but to my surprise, he used it to tee up a Casey Anthony joke on an episode a few weeks later. I used to get texts regularly from folks letting me know they saw us on TV…but now, a forgotten moment in time. Check out the original Daniel Tosh bit below!
