Razmig & His Random Cameos

So far I’ve been blogging my memories creating content for WAAF and my personal channel, but realized there’s a bunch of content out there that people haven’t seen…I mean, my IMDB says I was in the movie 21 with Kevin Spacey (awkward…)…but where do I actually appear in the movie? Well, I’ve clipped it and brightened it so you can actually see my big break in Hollywood! Funny, they actually paid me for the day, but also paid to park my car in front of the diner…and my car got paid more than I did despite being on camera for less than 4 seconds. With that, I present my big screen debut “Razmig in the movie 21”:

Next is a clip you might be more familiar with, I had a small camera on a TruTV show called You Can Do Better starring Abbi Crutchfield. I leaned into my villainous mustache to play “Cheapo Charlie” - I wasn’t originally supposed to have a speaking role, but they let me improv during the shoot and kept the bit about dropping stolen pens. The joke was that I was stealing pens and then dropped them, but unfortunately they did not use the additional angle to visually complete the gag.

Did you know I once appeared in an MTV reality show called “Hired”? Back when I was living in Brooklyn after college, I applied for a job with Gary Vaynerchuk (GaryVee) which was being filmed for an actual reality TV show. Though I didn’t end up getting the job, meeting Gary was a surreal experience since I had been a big fan of WineLibraryTV and Digg.com, which is where he had already seen my YouTube content! With that, the bad news is the show isn’t available. to stream anywhere…though I’ve included some old screen shots I found as well as a sizzle of the series on someone’s Vimeo account:

During the same time I was moonlighting as a reality TV star, I was also making appearances in the background of videos at my day job. If you look closely, you’ll spot Dustin Hahn (of The Headshot 😉) and myself roaming around in the background:

Here’s a more recent curveball, I wandered to the back of Red Bull Studios once and found myself doing gang vocals for Richie Ramone, drummer of The Ramones from 1983-1987…as well as being in the music video, which was shot during the session!

One thing I never did during my YouTube run was a crossover or collaboration with other creators. While I did work on a few videos, here are some random appearances on some major channels, first - Shondruas. Shonduras covered Red Bull events like Crashed Ice and Rampage, and I was fortunate enough to work as Social Media Producer…and thus appeared on camera!

Of course, I also had the pleasure of providing a commercial-style-voiceover for a memorable episode inspired by Dragons in Good Mythical Morning with Rhett and Link:

Here’s a short film I appeared in called The Vampire by Boston filmmaker, creative, and general funny man Phil Healy:

This one isn’t me, physically…but my music appeared in this Super Mario themed compilation by People Are Awesome:

Of course, these are what I can remember and locate. I also appeared in other films like The Great Debaters and The Departed, though unfortunately ended up on the cutting room floor or mostly obscured. I also have some footage of me crouched in weird spaces while producing a livestream with The Local Natives…and lastly, there’s also that one time I wandered into the background of Shaq’s press conference when he joined The Boston Celtics…

Anyway, I’m sure I’ll stumble upon more things as I continue to go through my old hard drives, but for now…THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
